This is a beautiful solid gold ring holding an AAA Lab Created Alexandrite. Lab created Alexandrites are chemically identical to mined natural Alexandrites in every way - except they are visually perfect and grown in a lab. It is one of the modern technological advances of the industry and reduces the need for hard labor in stone sourcing.
Alexandrite is a color changing stone. Different lighting affects the color. Most of the time, it appears to be a dark greenish blue - but occasionally will appear a deep purple red. Often, it shows elements of both.

Q: How are the prices so low compared to traditional brick and mortar stores?
A: We independently design, grow, cast, and finish our pieces from start to finish. So, we are the manufacturer, distributor, and retailer. This cuts out 3 middle men and about 50% of the profit needed to sustain our operation. Many other jewelers on Etsy and elsewhere also have a retail shop that they need to supplement their online activites with. We work exclusively online, so we can afford to sell pieces well below traditional retail.
Q: How long will this take to arrive?
A: It takes us about 1-2 weeks to create a piece in your ring size from scratch. Typically you can expect it to be shipped in about 8-12 days, and domestic shipping takes a couple of days. International express shipping takes about 4 days. If you need it ASAP be sure to let us know and we'll try our best to get it out sooner.
Q: Does it come with a box?
A: Yes! Our rings come with a nice ring box for any occasion ;)
Q: Are the gemstones engagement ring quality?
A: Absolutely, yes. When you open the ring box, there is no question. They are quite brilliant.
Q: How do you deal with returns, concerns, etc.?
A: We handle everything with as much care as possible. We will fully refund any piece that isn't to satisfaction. If you changed your mind, or you don't like it as much as you expected, we just ask that you return the piece within about 2 weeks.
Q: Do you offer custom services?
A: Yes, we do, but we will only work on a couple at a time. So, make sure to let us know in advance if you plan on starting one in the future.
